Business patrons of St Richard’s Hospice, Worcester
The borwell team are proud to have been supporting St Richard’s Hospice for over 10 years. During those years, we have sung in the choir, performed at the Lights of Love service, walked the Malvern Hills, peddled & paddled and written an iPhone app: Bling my Bear.
This year, I was invited to join the Business Patrons of St Richard’s to help organise & promote local events. Already the Patrons have raised around £10,000 from events held at The Quay, The Fusion Brasserie and Stanbrook Abbey.
I have entered two borwell teams into this year’s Corporate Challenge event. This will be held at Top Barn Farm on Friday 20th September.
We will get wet, we will get muddy!
There is still time for you to enter a team of 4 and take part in exciting activities like raft building, kayaking, rifle shooting, pioneering & paddle boarding. (I’m not so sure about the ‘electric fence’ & ‘bomb’ that’s also on the list!)
If you’d prefer to leave all the action to us, then please give generously & help raise essential funds for a fabulous local charity.

Help us make a difference
St Richard's Hospice provides free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and supports their families.
Each year the hospice team supports over 2,300 patients and family members in Worcestershire. Patients are cared for in Day Hospice, the 16-bed In-patient Unit or in their own homes by a specialist professional team as well as many trained volunteers. In the In-patient Unit specialist staff are on hand 24 hours a day to manage patients' symptoms and where, if they so choose, patients may spend the last few days of life in comfort and dignity.
St Richard's is grateful for all donations towards the £6.1m they need to raise this year to continue their work.
Thank you so much for reading this email, and please do all you can to support the work of St Richard's Hospice.
